		Thursday, November 03, 2005 Sony's Root Kit DRM This is simply astounding. Sony in an attempt to control your listing habits is installing stealth software on your PC without your consent. Not getting your consent to install this plague is not the worst part. This software is very difficult to remove. It runs in safe mode and if you attempt to remove it your CD-Rom drive will be disabled. Thanks sony. This whole copyright thing is spinning way way out of control. I hope SONY gets front-page coverage on this stupid DRM move. Did they really think this was going to pass unnoted? Or have they been doing this for years and haven’t gotten caught until now.
