Sunday, May 08, 2005PodcastingI don’t know if any of my readers have heard of a new thing called Podcasting but I have been doing it for several weeks. No I don’t provide content but I do listen to just about every cast I can get my grubby little hands on. What is Podcasting? Podcasting is a great new way of distributing audio and video (mostly audio) automatically. When a site offers a Podcast feed you can subscribe to the feed using Podcasting software and any new items will be automatically downloaded to your computer. As the name implies, if you have a portable audio player, the files can also be copied to the player. YOU DON’T NEED AN IPOD to partake in the fun. The software I use is called iPodder and is available for Mac, Windows and Linux. So, join in on the revolution you might like it. You might even want to make a Podcast of your own.
